This course addresses the various approaches to claim negotiation, stressing the importance of a detailed investigation and understanding of the coverage, liability and damage aspects of the claim before any negotiation is attempted. The course explains various advantages and disadvantages of types of negotiating style ranging from "take it or leave it" to compromise and the best form, reaching consensus, based on the facts of the claim.
